The 2021 Solidarity Ride was a big fund raiser for the Honor Flights this year with $22,200.00 dollars raised this year and a total of $91,000.00 over the last five rides the Honor Flight s will name the next flight out of Cedar Rapids “The Cedar Rapids Iowa City Building Trades Honor Flight” this flight is going to be sometime in October if any members have a close veteran family member that would like to participate on this special flight let us know seating availability is limited. We would like to thank the sponsors of this years ride Built by Pros and Cedar Rapids Bank and Trust as well as the building trades labor leaders. We had 171 entry’s in this years ride also special thanks for all the donated prizes, our contractors stepped up big with a Harley fire ring from Modern Sheet Metal,two Harley metal can shed boxes made and painted by Climate Engineers and a Stainless Steel planter from D&S Sheet Metal. This years winning poker hand was a ace high flush.
