Local 263 recently hosted the University of Iowa Labor Center’s Quality Pre-Apprenticeship Program at our training center. This program prepares Iowans to qualify for and succeed in a skilled construction trades apprenticeship. The five-week program is recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor and utilizes an industry-recognized Multi-Craft Core Curriculum. The course runs from February 5 – March 12, 2026.
Training Coordinator Matt Mutert was joined by a group of Local 263 journeymen and apprentices to provide some hands-on experience for the participants.
